Community Services
High Wycombe Round Table run a number of Community Services events throughout the year.
These events involve raising funds for distribution to other local groups and charities or to fund community events that we run for the local community.
Some of the events we run are:
Fireworks - High Wycombe Round Table run possibly the biggest and best fireworks in High Wycombe. This event includes a massive bonfire and a spectacular fireworks display. We are helped out by many other local groups who, amongst other things, help with the logistics, run a safe sparkler area for children, provide the food and run a licensed bar. The OAP pub run - this is an event which we run each year when we take a group of local OAP’s to a pub, provide them with a dinner and then have a sing along with them.
Children in need. High Wycombe Round Table are usually to be found dressed up in fancy dress collecting money for this worthy cause. Click here for more information.
Christmas appeal - This takes place during a week just before Christmas. Members will be found in High Wycombe Town Centre dressed as Santa and his elf’s.

Quiz/ Race night - This is an annual event which takes the form of either a quiz or a race night. It includes a licensed bar and a supper.
Shelterbox Challenge - In April 2007 four members of High Wycombe Round Table raised over £3,500.00 by taking part in this challenge on Dartmoor. In 2009 High Wycombe Round Table entered another team and raised around £1,500.00 for Shelterbox, for more details click here.
