60th Charter Dinner 2008
Football legends join Round Table celebrationsFOOTBALL legends Steve Perryman and Pat Jennings were guests of honour at High Wycombe Round Tables 60th Charter Dinner, held at Adams Park last Friday.More than 220 guests, including High Wycombe Round Table’s French equivalents from St Quentin enjoyed a packed evening of entertainment.And the event also raised a tidy £9,000 for two charity organisations in the area, Mr Perryman, former captain of Tottenham Hotspur, and Mr Jennings, a celebrated goalkeeper for Northern Ireland and Spurs in the 60s and 70s, gave an after dinner presentation to the crowd.Table magicians kept guests amused and the evening ended with a charity auction Gifts were provided by local businesses, including Allparts Automotive, Your Print Solutions and many more, as well as Mercedes Benz Cars.More than £9,000 was to go toward two charities - Thames Valley Chiltern Air Ambulance and WADSAD - Wycombe and District Sports Association for the Disabled.

Peter Booth, Past Chairman and President said “The Friday night celebration was great”.
Hugh Roberts, Past Chairman said “ Last night was a fantastic evening, thank you. Please thank Table on my behalf and here’s to the next 10 years”.
Past Chairman Eddie Gavin said ” Just a quick note to thank you for a great night on Friday, especially all of your hard work Mark, to get 200 people was excellent. I went into the chair at the 50th charter celebration, which was a great for me, but I have to be honest and say that you surpassed it on Friday “.
