Chairmans Day
Each year the members of HWRT by way of a “Thank You” to the previous years Chairman take him out for a “day” of fun and friendship.
Traditionally the past Chairman does not know when the day out will be or what will happen.
2009
A surprise for Neil, a decent breakfast, entertaining drive around the M25 in an old mini-bus and a day playing with diggers at Diggerland in Kent. Oh and the traditional curry! An excellent day out.
2008
Well this year was no different and the “day” turned into an overnight experience aswell!
Having been picked up and taken for a big breakfast it was off to Longridge near Marlow where we had to errect our tents, cook lunch, went Dragon boating, built rafts, had a big bonfire and got very wet in the rain the following day having breakfast and clearing away.
An excellent weekend.
